i am still interested in getting a player or team rating that gives us better insight into the value of a player and how we build up a particular aspect of our team.
instead of a numerical rating how about a letter grade such as the baseball game gives us. a run defense rating of b means more than 73 to me on a players card. pass rush-b+.run defense-c-, pass coverage-f, player endurance-b+ seems to tell me more about the player than 74, 63, 50, 81. of course if the help section gives us a breakdown of what numbers mean this would help with the numbers but i think i would still prefer letter ratings over numerical ratings. by the way i play a lot of different games and i can't think of any game that i have played where i favor numerical ratings over letter ratings.
