Did you Get your Outage Email

Hi, BBMO Fans -

Well, things are gradually returning to normal around here. We'll get to work on giving credits out tomorrow.

Since our email came back online, I've received several reports from people who did not receive one or both of the two annoucement emails I sent out regarding the outage.

I'm trying to figure out what happened, so please vote on this poll, indicating whether you received both, one or neither of the emails. If you did not receive either email, please post a short note with your email address, or (if you don't want to post that) with your email domain -- for example "@aol.com".

The first email was send around noon Tuesday, announced the outage, and directed people to the temporary Yahoo site.

The second email we sent around 2 pm Wednesday, and announced that the T-1 was live, and simulations would start at 3.

Both times are Eastern Daylight time.

Maybe some people changed their email addresses and did not update them for their account.

I received them, but the first one was sent to my junk mail folder. I was doing a search on the net when I saw a post of the e-mail on baseballsimcentral.com. After seeing that, I ran through my junk mail, and there it was (and now unfiltered).

Apparently no one, or not many in our league did, including the commissioner. We were completely in the dark the whole time.
Very frustrating.

I didnt get any e-mails either, I have a hotmail adress that I have not changed in over a year.

I got it. And about 14 messages asking why it was out afterward, 12 people of which just hadn't updated their emails. I myself would suggest some kind of confirmation on emails (there may be one and I just don't remember)
