If we want to use team logos and real team names, we have to get a license from Major League Baseball.

Unfortunately, that license costs money, and we felt that it made sense to stick with just the MLBPA license for now.

Maybe he meant draw your own logos, like the way it was in Hardball 3 & 4. But personally I doubt many would take the time to make their own logo, and I don't think it's very important anyways. I certainly don't think it's worth paying extra for authentic team logos.

there is no need to spend money on logos and stuff. Its not hard to change teams names to what they should be.

I for one am glad you did not purchase the MLB license. They get enough of our money from tickets, official caps, jerseys etc etc. I would much rather play as the Baltimore Colonials, then pay more just so I could have a official logo by my team.

If you are very much into the logo stuff why not do a team page? with your logo or soemthing on it and list it uunder your extra info.
