We have addressed this issue for the CD-ROM game with the new patch.
Version 4.20 is now available for downloading at:

We plan to port this to the online game soon.
Enjoy!

I don't mind the lack of offense...I would rather have less than more. All the game needs is a couple more A contact and A power rookies every year.

Also I would really like to see guys like Albert Pujols jumping out every year, so as Ichiro. We hardly rare to see a rookie batter get and avg over .300 OR hits 30 home runs.

I'm starting to notice something of a "dead ball" era in BBMO as well. When a pitching staff has 5 pitchers below a 3.50 seasonal ERA is rare enough for example, but when that team fails to win its division, let alone a pennant or world series, offense is definitely lacking.

I have fixed this is the BMO code, but because it involved the minor leagues it will take a few simmed seasons to correct itself.
Clay
I am VERY sure it's been fixed, i just got a rookie catcher of BBCB, hit 40 HRs in the minor with 301 avg. Got a CF rookie of rating of ACAB, hit 364 in the minor with 0 HRs.
