Normal Speed Active GM League

I'm sure you have seen some posts for active GM leagues on the boards. I too will be running an active GM league, although I was going to wait until it went live to start recruiting. Another thread showed that there were people who wanted to join an active GM league, but did not want to do a Fast Sim league.

My league will be a normal sim rate (10 games/day) and will run on weekdays. If you are interested in joining the league, email me (joshuacovert@earthlink.net) and let me know what team you'd like. So far, the Cardinals and the Yankees are spoken for. Please include a some alternates as well, in case your team has been taken. They will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

I don't yet know the name of the league, and probably will not know it until the new league is created, but once I find out, I will let you all know.

And to whoever took over the St. Louis team I left behind in beta 72 (maybe not 72, but I'm pretty sure it was in the 70s) to make room for this new league, you're welcome :-)

e-mailing people. That sounds childish, I know, but I chose to keep my e-mail address private when I joined the online beta test. If there is any other way I can contact you, please let me know here. If not I'll go about my business in FastSim 24. The teams I wouldn't mind having (listed in order of preference)are the Indians, the Rockies, the Expos, the Astros, the Padres, Giants, and the D-Backs. Thanx!

Instead of giving out your private email why don't you sign up for an account on hotmail or yahoo that you would not mind circulating. Most people have multiple email accounts (hotmail is free, as are others) to serve their differings needs and levels of privacy.

Two clarifications that I should have mentioned earlier, but forgot. First, when listing your preferences, please give specific teams, not just "whatever you have left" as there are still plenty of openings (23 at the moment). I'd rather have a specific team to put you donw for than to wait for the league to fill up. Of course, if you feel very strongly about taking what's left, let me know, and I'll try to accomdate you. It just makes it easier on me when you give me specific names.

This list will be edited as more teams are taken. Check this list before you request a team to make sure they aren't already taken.

Also, when you email me, let me know your Baseball Mogul Online account name (it may be different from your account name for the message boards). When I first start this, if I find a different account name for a team other than what i have on my records, that person will be booted from the league.

I need your account name too, DBS, unless that is your BMO account name. In either case, let me know. I've got you marked down for Cleveland.
