I think an allstar game would be cool. Maybe there could be mock fan voting with the manager with the best record choosing the rest of the all stars.

The CD-ROM has an all star game, with the CPU mimicking millions of voters. I just need to port this code to the online game and build an interface for viewing the data.

I would be net to be able to take the best players for a game an use them yourself, of course I would try to drive them into the ground ( the ones not on my team) No need for a team to have their best players so they can beat me later on in the season.

Think of being able to have Pedro pitch a near complete game where he blows out his arm for the rest of the season, that seems to appeal to me.

I think all my players just developed a 72 hour flu right around the time of the all-star game that TGG was to manage
