anyone have any ideas on which is best team in semi??

Cleveland along with lots of others look like some nice offenses, but there doesnt seem to be a clear cut advantage out there....

Why should we help those who aren't doing their homework. :)

On that note, I think Anaheim, Boston, Pittsburgh are the teams to beat.

i'm not so sure about anahaeim, but I would have to say Pittsburgh takes the cake. I just hate those NL teams with no DH.

i looked at those teams, and i graded them a B. i have a bunch of C rated teams, and i think i only have a couple A graded teams.

the talent is spread out and the teams are very even in the long run.

i hate those teams with huge contracts to over-the-hill players.

or teams with more than three 60+ point players.

and of course, those teams with a lot of players in their contract year (and expect a raise) are worrisome to own.

i can see that there will be a lot of player movement before the season. and defintely before the trading deadline.

i hope the teams i like are around when i pick at 5:40pm (pacific).

good luck again to you guys.

since im bored and im just waiting for my window to open...

i ditched my management class today because it would have run from 4-7pm tonight while my time slot is at 5:40pm.

**** im obsessed. and excited. by the look of how many users are browsing the mogul challenge forum, we're all a bit excited. wondering which teams will be picked first and which ones will be left for us to take over.

for me, i have some self-imposed policies to follow:

1) coming from orange county, CA i, of course, root for the angels. have been since i was a little tike. ive had a disneyland season pass as long as i can remember (but, scr.ew disney!) and ive lived in orange county almost all my life. therefore, the angels are high on my list.

2) coming from orange county, i am partial to the dodgers as well, though i hate the franchise, ever since they got rid of lasorda, fred claire, the o'malleys, and changed their approach to winning from being all about the farm to now being a wannabe west coast yankees. however, ive been to some playoff games, even drove to san francisco to support the home team against hostile environments. those SF fans are a bunch of fags. I hate the Giants, so no matter what, i will never choose the Giants.

3) i will not choose a team that homes a player i hate, ie.
mo vaughn, jose lima, kevin brown, juan gonzalez, frank thomas, scott erickson... and if i do, ill get rid of that guy quick or release his as$.

4) im defintely going to get a team with an ace or an ace-in-training. thats important.

5) id rather have a team with a bunch of average players than have 1 superstar and a bunch of mediocre monkeys.

thats it. im just bored.

I only looked at challenge 2 (my league). Are both leagues set up the same? It wil l be interesting if they are to see if it is player dominated or owner dominated to advance

the teams are the same in both leagues.

and dave, im in challenge 2

and looks liek the mets and yankees are taken, respectively, so far in challenge 1 and 2

but of course, they can change their minds...

in mogul challenge 2, the teams with pedro and big unit have been taken so far...that is, unless they change their minds...

that KC team is nuts!!!
that pitching rotation reminds me of boston's last year.
