Minnesota has a payroll of 521 and -1000 cash. They added payroll in the offseason, specifically Ken Griffey Jr. for 90 points a seaon. Obviously they traded for him, but since Minnesota is spending 0 on scouting and farm system, I doubt that they had good prospects to offer in return. There are no AI teams. So valid trade or cheating, this is an example of why the spending limit needs to be further refined.
