Hi All,

Does anyone else have this issue?

About half of the time that I hit the “back” button, when trying to access the previous page using MSExployer, I receive the following message:

Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.

The only solution I have found is to hit the “refresh” button. Hitting the “back” button only brings up the message again.

Thanks for your input... Tim

Seiryuu -

Unfortunately, the problem you are describing comes from Microsoft, not us.

Many of the screens in Baseball Mogul Online are forms that you submit. For example, when you choose to look at a different team summary by choosing the name from the drop-down list, you are submitting a form.

Unfortunately, IE has problems returning to the results of a form when you hit the "Back" button. So it tells you that it needs to re-submit the form before it can show you the results.

The only way I have found around this (and I only do it when I am repeatedly hitting the back button) is to his a non-form link, then return to the page via another non-form link.

For example, if you are looking at your team summary, you can click "Headlines" in the left nav, then click "summary" from the left nav of the next page. Because you did not submit a form to see this page, IE does not think that it needs to re-submit the information.

If anyone knows of some code we could use that would mean IE would not want to resubmit the forms each time, PLEASE let us know!

Thanks,
James

I own a web design firm in Connecticut...I don't know of any code that prevents the Refresh message but I will look around. I don't think there is any way of avoiding it by just popping in some code.
