Hey,
I am in North American Baseball League and we have been doing our own waiver wire using the league forums. We have had teams post players on waivers in one specific post. Then, if anyone wants them, they just send a trade offer for the player offering no one in return.
Here's an idea: Create a waiver wire page so that players can be posted, and if anyone claims them, they automatically go to that team. This way, it is all in one central location, and maybe the players could be sorted by position or salary. I find that NABL's system is great, but I have had teams decide to not honor my waiver request after they had posted a player on waivers just because that player suddenly went on a tear.
The only downsides I can think of are that it might be alot of work for Clay, and it would be easy for cheaters to take advantage of.
