Real players

Hey,

I just dloaded the demo, and I must say, I am quite pleasantly surprised that there are real players.

Just a few weeks ago, you guys said that they would be like old BBMs with similar names...what happened? :) (of course, I'm much happier that I don't have to go in and change them all) :D

There are real players in the demo? Wierd. They've said that all the names would be fake. Maybe that's only for the full version.

Real name, real position (mostly...Ray Buchanan is not a Safety), real college

Probably forgot to scramble the names in the demo...in the old BBM demos, you could get into Comm Mode even though it was supposedly turned off if you were cool enough...like me :)

From what I have heard, volunteers changed the names, and Sports Mogul doesn't have the license. On an off-topic, I can't say I was too pleased with the demo. I spent an hour downloading 5 plays, and I was amazed to see that Rams like Courtland Bullard, Steve Belisarri, Rich Coady, and Kaluna Noa were so good, while Tommy Polley and Adam Archuleta were far from it.

Yes, there definetly needs to be quite a bit of tweaking on ratings.

The real players are there in the live version too, not just the demo.

But I'm not going to buy it until it comes down to closer to $10, as it isn't worth $20. FBM2k3 is not nearly as good as even the original BBM. THe game is unbalanced. Christ, I used my 5 demo plays on one dynasty as the Falcons, and I won 4 Superbowls in 6 seasons.
