In Fast Sim 44, there are two computer teams. People seem to be using them to dump all of their high-salaried players on. As a result, these teams have huge salaries. The teams are Baltimore and -- get this -- Montreal.
Montreal is in first place in its division. Its projected salaries are 823. Its projected revenue is 363. Eek. Isn't the game supposed to prevent this?

Computer teams, for reasons I'm not quite sure of, if they still have some money will sign all the attractive free agents at the end of the free agent session. This also happened with Fast Sim 26 (Philly). In an earlier post I suggested using 40 men rosters to solve both this and the problem of teams accepting salary dumps. Personally I think this is a huge problem and I don't know whether the Mogul guys are intent on adressing it, but hopefully in good time...

Yes, we have seen this thread, and we are definitely addressing the computer signing problems.
We have spent a lot of time getting feedback from players on the computer trade AI, and have been trying hard to take that feedback and improve the AI accordingly.
Clay has been working on having the AI pay more attention to it's budget when signing players; I'm not sure what the current status of that update is. But I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
