I have now logged 40 hours of playing.

I am having a blast. The game can get very detailed. I litterally spent 3 hours doing a draft the other night. I am in my 8th season.

It's wild to draft a QB in the 7th round a few seasons back because the scouts say he's amazing (even though his numbers don't support it ) and he lights it up after finally getting a shot to start, very rewarding after blowing some money on the scouting staff.
Also just keeping the team profitable is real cool. I find myself checking the finances page first and formost. I have toned down the trading and poaching of other players from other teams and I am keeping the cost of payroll down while maintaining a winning percentage.

This is the best stats game I have ever played and BY FAR the best stat footbal game ever (well Super Bowl Sunday for the C-64 was pretty good but this beats it).

I highly recommend this game to anyone interested in stat sports game and certainly to anyone wishing for a stat based football game.

You can micro manage all you want and spend 3 hours studying player stats before clicking the "play one week " button or do it in about 5 minutes. That is what I like about the game most , it's open ended...spend as much time or as little time doing whatever you want.

It's nice to see someone complimenting the game instead of whining like a little kid like most people are doing. Sick how half the people complain yet they didn't shell out a dime to purchase it. The other half make it seem like this game is the worst thing since September 11. I like the game because its down to earth and I appreciate the hard work of a single programmer who worked hard to get this game going. Of course there are lots of inaccuracies but thats what patches are supposed to fix. I just hope there is a Hockey Mogul

Just FYI, the complaints are the _reason_ we didn't purchase the product. It's a cause-and-effect type thing.
