Does anybody know how the schedule for interleague games is determined. Out of 27 interleague games, I faced the Yankees -- the most difficult team in both leagues -- 12 times. Other than this team I played TB, Toronto, and Boston. This seems inbalanced. What's the deal?

Interleague games are against the other league's likewise division. AL east teams play NL east teams, AL central teams play NL central teams, AL west teams play NL west teams. The idea behind this is for teams to play their geographical rivals. I wish it was like the NFL where they switch it up every year.

I think the top seeded teams should be matched up against likewise opponants in interleague play. As it is now, I have to go up against two powerhouses. These games will make a BIG difference in my run at a wildcard spot. I have played 15 games against teams who are posting records over 700. I am playing a small market team (the Expos) and really can only expect to ever get to the playoffs via the wildcard. Even if interleague stays the way it is, the games should be spreadout more through the division from the other league. Why should I play one team 12 times and others just a few?
