I like the new policy of listing the positions on the trade screen. Saves a bunch of time.

Has anyone noticed the tendency of the game to award the win to the last pitcher on the winning team, if the starter didn't go 5 innings? I think the W goes to the reliever who makes it into the 5th, though frankly i'm not sure.

whomever the score keeper deems worthy, provided:

A: the starter did not go 5 innings,
B: The reliever was last active while his team was in (or gained) the lead and
C: The team maintains the lead - regardless of how many runs are subsequently scored.

What OBM is doing a legit default in the case that the starter does not go 5.

The winning pitcher does not have to have pitched beyond the 5th, I do not believe.
