Would it be possible for the game to add more control to the farm system? For example, depending on my current needs, I may want to focus more on drafting pitchers, or shortstops, or whatever. Real teams do this all the time.

Also, would it be possible to be able to set the training focuses of your farm system, or get any sort of tangible feedback that people have improved, or such?

I would also like to have the option of prioritizing certain positions in the draft. It would also be nice to be able to trade draft picks. I would not want a manual draft, but having some control over what players are added would be nice. Perhaps there could be a list of available talent which you could order your preferences against. The computer would then draft players for you by (a) your preference and (b) player quality.

It seems like a good idea- it gets annoying when 4 out of your 5 draft picks are catchers lol. It might be hard for Clay to implement, and I don't think it should be a really top priority.

Not high on my list , but a good idea. I have drafted so many bad pitchers over the last few weeks it is not even funny.

I have read that people notice that if you lost 2 first basemen an a catcher or what ever you tend to get the same back, I could be wrong about that..........

This make NO SENSE! If you lose a First Baseman, you get another back, then what's the point for resigning the previous player instead of taking a rookie that has the same ability for way less money. Even Clay doesn't know he made this feature, then where is it from?

In a previous post, the players assigned from the farm system is random. It does not matter what you lost.

That is fine with me! If you have too much of something, trade it!

On a related, but different note, have you noticed the quality of AAA newbies dropoing rather considerably recently?

Yea, but it only happens in the batter area. If both pitching and batting both dropped, i dont care, cause some batter will eventually hits over.300 and hits over 50 HRS with their CCCC rating, and some pitcher will get a ERA of under 2.00 and 25 wins with CCCC rating, u know what i mean?
