This looks like a save situation for Rocker:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 + R H E
Mashers (MIL) 5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5 10 0
Phils (PHI) 1 4 0 1 0 0 0 0 x 6 10 0

PHILADELPHIA ip h bb hr r er k pit ERA
Tavarez 4.0 9 4 1 5 5 3 89 4.95
Beltran 2.0 1 1 0 0 0 0 28 2.25
Gomes 1.2 0 1 0 0 0 1 27 5.74
Rocker 1.1 0 2 0 0 0 2 29 2.63

WP: Beltran (3-1)

not easy to format, but hopefuly you can get the gist

TOP OF THE EIGHTH
The Phils guarded the lines.
Kevin Barker pinch hit for Valerio de los Santos.
Kevin Barker popped up to the catcher.
Jason McDonald walked.
Doug Mientkiewicz laid down a sacrifice bunt to the catcher.
Mark Quinn was intentionally walked.
John Rocker came in to pitch for the Phils.
Edgardo Alfonzo grounded to second.
0 runs, 0 hits, 0 errors, and 2 left on base.
In the middle of the eighth, Milwaukee trails 6 to 5.

BOTTOM OF THE EIGHTH
Shigetoshi Hasegawa came in to pitch for the Mashers.
A.J. Pierzynski flied out to center.
Reggie Taylor lined out to right.
The Mashers guarded the lines.
John Rocker grounded to second.
0 runs, 0 hits, 0 errors, and 0 left on base.
At the end of the eighth, Philadelphia leads 6 to 5.

TOP OF THE NINTH
Todd Pratt walked.
Tyler Houston struck out.
Paul O'Neill lined out to short.
Jose Hernandez walked.
Ron Gant pinch hit for Shigetoshi Hasegawa.

Again, it looks like it's having trouble calculating wins and saves when the starter doesn't make it thru 5 innings.

(in this case, the Win is correct...)

Godard -

Unfortunately we can't see the news reports you are indicating.

Because the game uses URLs as well as cookies and session variables, the URL alone cannot identify a page in the game.

In this case, people who are not in your league can't actually log in to the headlines in your league.

Could you perhaps post the 9th inning of the game? Also, indicate which league and team is having the problem, so we admins can have a peek.

Thanks,
James Grove

I have a general save error. My long reliever has kept a lead for the last 3 innings several times. He was not credited with a save. According to the MLB rules, If a reliever holds a lead, no matter by how many runs, for the last 3 innings, he is credited with a save.

I had thought these were fixed, including the "3-inning save", but I'll take another look. Thanks for pointing this out.
