Am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that making changes to your starting D cause your lineup to change too.

i second that, it is bothersome.
Are you like NEW to BASEBALL??? Except DH, all your line up has to have a position to play in, not 9 guys for batting and another 8 guys for denfense, ok?

Some players can play more than one position, e.g., my first baseman can also play LF and RF, I have a player that is good for all OF positions, and so forth. When I juggle THESE players (without adding players from the bench) my lineup changes along with my defensive changes. So, I still have nine players in total in the end.

I know...its annoying. To clarify: If you change definsively, say you swap your LF and your RF, they also change places in the batting order. At first, it was quite a surprise when I realized they were switched. I've gotten used to it, but a change would be nice.

I agree. I'm used to it now too, but it does take some juggling to make sure that your players are in the desired order, at the desired positions.

I agree, this is a pain. It doesn't seem to happen every time I make a defensive change, but does often enough that I have made a habit of double checking my lineup after I make changes.
BBM...what's your deal? You are constantly jumping on people. It would be nice if you eased up a bit and tried to be constructive instead of trying to insult everyone.

I agree with the sentiment that changes on the Defense page (WITHIN your starting 8) shouldn't affect your lineup. I just need to take the time to implement this.
