Just a quick question. Do you get money from attendance in the playoffs? I was running a bit over budget one year but I figured I coupld break even by adding some salary to make the playoffs. I made it to the World Series, sold out my ballpark at +30% but it did not seem like I made an extra cent.
Did I misread my financial info or is it really set up that way?
There should be a financial incentive for maing the playoffs. This would be even more important for small market teams.

This is something that we have talked about here many time. There is a % break down an something about tiers but it does very little for MY understanding of what I make for the playoffs.

Past that, yes small market teams get crushed by the fact we get nothing. Many a playoff time I have lost because I ended up over budget an unable to sign that key guy in the off season.
