Does anyone know what damage from injuries effects? Like does it lower the ratings, forcing the players to decline eariler than they normally would, or does it effect their health rating, or what?

Any help would be appreciated... as my star player just went down and has probable permament damage... he was asking for like 103 pts. for 7 years, but now he's down to 92 for 7 years (only six days, two hourly sims later...), so something's up... Wondering how wise it is to sign him long-term...

Thanks.
Dave

You can see it in their ratings, they decline almost imediately. One of my star pitchers ruptured knee ligaments and had permanent damage.
His Mvt grade went from B to C+ or so. Strangely enough his performance did not change much once he came back a year later.

in my experiences, long term damage is negligible :)

i'm sure you'd be fine resigning him, it does show in the rating immediately. just give him a chance to finish out the year, and if he's good, he won't get worse later...
