In a playoff series in a fast-sim league my team used a 5 man rotation and the other team used a 3 man rotation.
I'm not sure why my #1 starter did not pitch sooner as there were off days and he would have been rested. I thought that if the #1 starter was rested he took preference over the #5 starter.
When you are in a fast-sim and you can't specify each pitcher each day are you supposed to do something to switch over from a 5 man to a 3 man rotation?
I'm feeling just a little confused over this as maybe I would not have lost the series in 6 games if I only used my 3 best starters.
