:D !!! I think that the league should be able to vote on any trades prposed. It gives everyone a chance to get a chance.
But because of the lag of active managers in ur league, would it be dumb to wait for all the managers to vote?? I think you will have to wait quiet a LONG time to get a trade done.

well i just think the trading is lame in the first place, some people obviously no the trick to it cause ive seen whole teams changed over and i cant trade 2 all star caliber people for some schmuck now why is that do small market teams just get the shaft on everything?

I dont like that Idea, Do they vote in real life?!? No.
And it would take way to long for everyone to accept ever trade.

Real life is all well and good, but.....
This is a simulation, and in a simulation, sometimes you need to take liberties. And since one person can ruin an entire league, obviously something needs to be done here.
League vetos of trades is a great tool, and a terrific way to discourage lopsided trades, and outright cheating. If you've played in the Yahoo Fantasy baseball, you can see how it works, and it works well......
Unfortunately, due to the speed of this game, league veto's is impractical.
However, in the near future, the league moderator will have almost total control of the league, and be able to reverse trades, change cash amounts.... who knows, probably al whole lot more. That makes the "Appeal to the Commishioner" gambit pretty much the way to go.
Just make sure you are on the commish's good side. :D

There is a definite problem with the current way trades are handled, at least by the computer-controlled teams.
It seems when this first started out, it was really, really easy to pick computer teams clean of their all stars by a combonation of pickup up freeagents in the positions the computer wanted, and then trading a bunch of players for one or two superstars.
However, now, it is TOO hard to trade with the computer. I tried trading 3 superstars, along with a few good prospects, just to get a rookie pitcher, along with 200 points, and still nothing.
Legitimate trades which are mutually beneficial should be allowed. If a computer team continues to say "i'm looking for a starting outfielder" and he wont accept a Manny Ramirez or Andruw Jones in their prime, along with money and prospects, for a lone pitcher, there is something wrong.
