Off season free agency

hi,

i've seen some funkiness with signing free agents in the off season. the idea of having their contract demands lessen over time is great, but it seems to drop all of a sudden after a sim. For example, Sosa wanted 151 points per season, then after 1 sim, it was down to 146, then down to 131. But a couple of hours later, it was at 33! So then it just became a test of who was online at the time and can sneak in the last bid. I'm not sure if it's a bug or what, but i thought i'd just mention it. (ps. this happened for pretty much all the FAs all at once)

It's not a bug, The player does ask for less by each sim, they will be asking only 1-5 points a year if no body bids them after the FA bidding war, so if no body wants sosa, he will only be asking 1 points or so instead of 100+.

ya, it is a bug. Clay said he was going to tone it down a bit so you couldn't get a 130 point player for 6 points.
