Are there any plans to allow you to "build" a stadium so that you could match your team to the stadium? Barring that, how can we find out the tendencies of each stadium, as far as how the AI adjusts the game to the park? It would be helpful to have this imformation, but it would be more fun to allow teams to build their own parks so they could choose players that would do well there. Hitter's parks vs. pitcher's parks and the GM could decide which he wanted and put his team together accordingly.

I could just see it now...Playing in a stadium in Denver, with 250 ft fences in dead center.

A perfect case why customized stadiums WOULDN'T work in the online game. Perhaps I'm the only one that feels this way, but this is far down on the list of priorities. It's a nice feature in the cd-rom game because it doesn't affect but the Gm who is creating the stadium. But online, it would greatly affect the other 29 Gm's. I have seen people do some pretty stupid things around here, and I shudder to think how unrealistic the game could become with something like this being implimented.

Have I mentioned I'd be in favor of Home-Away Splits and Sortable Team Stats?

Devil's Advocate.

DGM, I'm really hoping my sarcasm wasn't lost on you, there. I may enjoy a bad joke as much as the next tasteless guy, but I understand the concepts of good baseball and all that. :)

So you put in minimum standards for dimensions first-is that impossible? Every new stadium and many older ones get tinkered with as far as where the fences are, so why is that far-fetched?

In an unrelated topic, is there any way in the online version to get stats for team fldg. pct. and errors without going to each player? Also, if you play a player out of position ( a SS playing 2b for example) his errors don't show up on his screen except for the ones at his primary position.

It would also be nice to be able to direct where a player plays while in the minors. I often end up with 5 or 6 left fielders, when what I really need is a third baseman.
