In fastsim6 I have an abundance of starting pitching so I was trying to move some of it. Since over half the league is inactive, I decided to see what I could get from the computer teams.

After the first couple turned me down and didn't ask for starting pitching in their requests, I decided to try and see what all the computer teams were in the market for.

Would you beleive that through probably 15-20 teams, not a single one was actively looking for a starting pitcher? I saw every other position and some teams were requesting youth in the bullpen, but not a single starter was asked for.

Was this just an extremely unlikely coincidence, or are computer teams just generally not looking for starters?

It's probably because of the shift towards good rookie pitchers that has occurred. In the league that I'm in where most of the real life players have retired. There is an overabundance of good starting pitchers, and a lack of good hitters. There are 10 teams with ERAs bellow 3.00. So it's not surprising that in these pitching dominated leagues that pitching is not in demand (since the computers too, probably have an abundance of starting pitching).

I was looking at the current season's numbers, which were only about a week old, so they're somewhat higher than last year's. I still find it hard to beleive that every team has 5 starting pitchers they're comfortable with, but they can't find enough youth in the bullpen

I too have noticed that. I cannot remember the computer asking for a SP.

Whoever had made a trade with the computer in the last 3 days including today, i will cut my head off. The computer WONT acept any trades, even though u give them 200 points for a VETEREN that r getting 50 points a year and batting under 250. I am very sure that Clay had make a program that wont let computer-human trades.
