After leaving baseball mogul last year due to frustrations with game play league setup exc. I came back after a year to find to my surprise alot of positive changes. Gone or alteast out of site are :
League jumpers: There will always be some but it looks to have calmed down (maybe this is because I am in an equalized league)
Confusion: Most people know how to play the game. People have adapted to BMO and stopped expecting BMO to adapt to them.
Mass volume of newbies: Although this is not good for the growth of the game, it is good for the balance. When newbies enter the game I think of it as expansion that waters down the leagues. There is always an adjusting period for them to learn and be competitive.
Poor commish: Seems like there are alot of good, dedicated commish ownership in leagues. They are masters of the leagues and make the game much more enjoyable.
All these things coupled with the new features and upgrades have made this game alot more enjoyable.
