Independent League

The original INDEPENDENT LEAGUE is seeking to fill its open slots during its final season (Season 060, or 2021) before the league's reset, and use of the new 2003 database.

The league currently features a ton of owners who have been around 20 or more seasons and has active posting in the message forums. A web site tracks our storied history every season, and as our past resets have done, I expect this one will simply kick the IL up another notch in these areas, as well as in competitiveness.

As I post this, openings exist in Detroit, Florida, Kansas City and Tampa Bay, so come join us in one of BBMO's longest running (but continually fresh) leagues, the original INDEPENDENT LEAGUE.

As an IL GM, I recommend it to anyone as a very active league with a good commish......as I post this only three teams left and ........... I hear that the new rosters may be out this week............get a team before they are gone!

The Independent League is currently in its 60th and final season before it resets with the 2003 database in place. We currently have 3 openings:

Kansas City
New York (NL)
Tampa Bay

We will pause the league for a few days while I tend to some behind-the-scenes items, preparing the original Independent League ("OIL") for Season 061.

We also just overhauled the Independent Leagues' web site, which provides information on the history of OIL, Independent League 30 ("IL30") and our newest league, Independent League Equalized ("ILE"). Check it out at www.dpmonline.com/indyleague/

SUNDAY, APRIL 6TH is the day we will resume play. We'd love to have a full slate of owners on our next "Opening Day," but if the past is any indication our open slots won't be available Saturday - so come on aboard!

24 Hours to Reset!

Well, less actually...

The original INDEPENDENT LEAGUE closes out its 60th season Wednesday and will then reset, reopening on Sunday with the new rosters, a new web site, and a set of dedicated owners looking to beat each other silly.

So come... get in our game!

At 5pm ET today, the Independent League was reset, and we will resume play on Sunday with the 2003 rosters.

Kansas City and Tampa Bay remain available, and each club will start with 40 points cash. Owners can drop up to 5 players from their roster, and designate one FP to a 6-year, 35 pts. per year deal.
