I really hate the new interface for expenses. I like the old method where I could just enter any number, it was alot faster and less cumbersome.

We did add a feature that forces all teams in debt to cut their expenses to zero. This was in response to many complaints that some owners were running their teams into the ground imbalancing a league (and making it very difficult for a legitimate owner to ever try to revive that team).

Is this what you are talking about?

You can't enter a number in the farm system, scouting, and medical cells. You have to delete or backspace out the old number, then enter the 1st digit of the new number then use a drop down box to select you number you want to use for that specific expense. I liked the old way where I could just highlight the number, and enter a new number for the specified expense.

If you are going to use a drop down box for expenses atleast have the number you select show what your rank will be if you select that number.

I think what you may be describing is a "feature" of Internet Explorer -- the Autocomplete feature.

The way autocomplete works, is as you start to type in a form field, autocomplete creates a drop-down box that shows you all the things you have previously entered into that form (or into a similar form).

Autocomplete is helpful when you have to enter a username and password--just type the first letter or two of your username, and let autocomplete fill in the rest. But it's less helpful when you are just typing a number, as is the case on the Expenses screen.

Nevertheless, we have not made any changes to the expenses screen that I am aware of. You SHOULD still be able to type in the number of points you want to spend, just like you used to.

Are you unable to enter two or three digits in the fields? Is your browser only letting you type in 1 digit into the expenses fields?

Please try the expenses screen again and let me know. Also, can you verify my hunch that you are using IE?
