Now is the time to get serious about finding the league that you want to play in. I have had a lot of people signup and then decide not to play, so I am asking the players who have signed up and are still interested to e-mail me back again and tell me the top 5 teams that you would want. rjblackburn@sofnet.com Here is a list that I have already recieved confermation from and the open teams (we have a whole lot)

I need a list of your top 5 teams you would like to play as well as your user ID once again.
Lots of team out there, and I will update this frequently this weekend. I will be posting a complete list of rules within the hour.

The players with team confirmation have all e-mailed me within the last 2 days. If you say you have no preferance of teams, you can be assured that you will recieve a small-market team.

The rules are going to be as follows

#1 No trading with the computer- this will result in immediate removal from the league. Ideally we won't have any computer teams, but it is very possible.

#2 Lopsided trade will go through the following process- If I decide a trade is way out of line I will bring this to a vote in the message board. A 2/3 majority of votes is needed to overturn a trade (commish has no vote it is assumed)

#3 Every person will be required to report any players released during the season.

#4 Any player signed to a one year contract during the offseason can not be resigned for a lesser amount until the end of the season. (i.e. October)

#5 Players deamed to be problem players will be removed from the league.

#6 Everyone must log in at least every 3 days

#7 setup of the league will be as follows......simulation speed will be simalar to fast-sim.

#8 Any rule that needs to be added changed or removed will require a 2/3 vote from the entire league.

#9 everyone will be required to check the message board frequently.

#10 This is a game and we will treat it that way.

I don't understand the point of rule #3. If I want to release a guy and pay 50% of the salary, then anyone else can pick him up as a free agent. The point is I might not be able to check back in 2 hours to see if anybody wants him. I know I could save 50%, but it's just not possible to check every sim every hour.

I would like everyone to report any releases though, so I know who to look for on the free agent list.
