Am I missing something? From what it looks like the site where you put in your CC to play isn't secure. I really want to play, but will not send in my info on a non-secure site.

Your right...This is HORRIBLE. I just don't understand how you could beta test a game for so many months and then don't have secure signup. A security certificate is only a few hundred dollars!
I think this will really hurt signups, as most people are smart enough not to send their CC number without a secure connection.

You are not only having 1 choice, u have 3 choices, CC #, check or money order.

Actually I wrote Clay about this and he told me that it is a secure connection and they applied for a certificate. It just hasn't gone through yet. The transaction is secure but it does not show as such yet on the browser.

We have a secure certificate in the works for our server, it does take some time for it to get processed.
If anyone doesn't want to use the web to sign up before it becomes active, feel free to call us with your cc number at (718) 395-9860.

BTW, if you need any help with that let me know... I can get SSL Certs in a matter of hours from Verisign.... it is part of what I do for a living, I know the process and the people a lot better than I want to.

Our secure server is now fully operational, and is approved by Verisign.
I'd like to say thanks to RPeiper for his assistance is hustling the paperwork through Verisign!
If you were waiting to input your Credit Card info, you no longer have to worry about Internet sniffers.
Cheers,
James
