How do I cut expenses and/or raise rev if I can't release players or sign less costly players. I have a first place team but I have negative cash. Please help with some options other than trading all my players. Thanks for the input.

You might want to tinker with your ticket prices and/or broadcasting options, assuming that you don't want to chop the big three: farm system, scouting, and medical...

I have cut ticket prices to hopefully draw more people. However, my three farm, scouting and medical are at zero and I can't adjust them to anything else. How can I tell if my ticket prices ahve any effect? What are the first things you look at after a sim to see if your going in the right direction of making a profit? thanks

Actually what I'd look at is immediate, rather than after a sim - look at where your payroll numbers are in the tickets screen. If they rise, you're generating more overall revenue. If they fall then you're heading in the wrong direction.
If they stay the same after raising/lowering ticket prices, keep going in that direction and adjust as needed to maximize revenue.
