Contreras was New York's starter on 33 occasions in 2003. He averaged over five and a half innings per outing while posting a 5.63 ERA. Jose's 18 wins brought his career total to 18. He also has 117 complete games and 46 shutouts over his one years in the big leagues. Contreras ranks among the top pitchers in the league. He's the type of pitcher you build a staff around.
This happened in 'All Star ML Baseball'
If you look at his scouting report, and at the career leaders list, he is listed as having 117 complete games in his career. The same number that Roger Clemens currently has in the same league. He is also listed as having 46 career shut-outs. Obviously, this is wrong.
Just a small stat bug I stumbled upon.
Not a bad percentage though. 117 complete games in 33 starts and 18 wins with 46 shut-outs.
