I know this has been talked about in some of the smaller league forums, but this is getting ridiculous.

I have seen the best ERA's in a league that are over 5.00. What is worse is that I have seen some teams finish a season with an ERA over 9.00. One team had Curt Schilling, Omar Daal, Mike Remlinger, and some great bullpen players.

Couple that with the fact that every single batter is on steroids, you have a screwy league. Scores are looking more like football finals rather than baseball games.

I thought something might be done about this, but it has been over 3 seasons (30 games/day) for each one of my leagues.

Just ridiculous!

I know they are working on the ERA bug and I guess they are also working on the errors bug as well. Wouldn't you think they would off-set each other? If top-notch pitchers have ERA's around 6 and top-notch fielders have between 20-30 errors a year the scores must be outrageous! Must be the upside of living in the steroid-era of baseball!!

In my league, the AL East's best ERA is well over 5. This is causing mucho problems. It's a good thing we're all so easy going. :)

Screwed up game = no fun

I used to check in on my teams every few hours. Now, it's a day or two. I have lost so much interest as a result of the games stagnation. And now, with it turned into an arcade game with the ERA bug, it's moving backwards.

I'm in Elite Mogul League 2, and currently 18 teams have over a SIX era. 1 team has under a 4.50 ERA. Oh boy, is this fun! I can't wait to log in and see how many of my pitchers have gotten their ERA's under 8.00!

Worst of all, this bug has been going on for weeks. What the he*ll are we paying for? Why don't they just suspend the game, and billing, until they can provide us with a less bug-ridden product?

I'm in the same boat with you.

I've won the WS with offenses that weren't as good as the one I've got now. The problem is, this offense is maybe 14th best in the whole league and my pitching is unbelievably awful. What is wrong with this sim?

Is this a new roster problem? Mogulers Best (2002 rosters) has realistic ERA's...

New roster problem, yes.

I'm losing interest too. 43 year old pitchers dominating, good guys going suddenly bad, 80 home runs a season, journeymen turning into all stars in their mid 30's The realism is gone and I just can't get up any enthusiasm for my teams. Even if one does well I don't care because it had nothing to do with my skill. There is just too much randomness. Maybe they are trying to level the playing field for newer gms, I don't know but my hours of pouring over my teams are over for now.

People complained and complained that their were no new rosters, and no updates, so mogul puts them out, this is what you guys that complain like little babies get for no patience, your lucky they want to update at all.

I never said a word about the roster update. Get your facts strait weaselboy. I wasn't complaining, just stating facts. I sincerly hope they get the game back the way it was because it was fantastic. Now am I lucky to be paying for a flawed game right now or are they lucky that I still pay as I wait this thing out?

No offence Clay, I'm just frustated because I miss the realism of this game from before the update.

Just imagine if all consumers were like that! They should feel lucky to pay for a defective product from a business? Wow, the junk that people would have to accept! Thankfully, the old Soviet Union is gone, and we won't put up with that here (well most of us won't).

Fortunately, most people expect some kind of value for their dollars, and can register their dissatisfaction when they have a complaint. That's all that this thread is, feedback for BBMOL.

And, believe it or not, I am sure that Sports Mogul WANTS to hear what their customers think, instead of them just disappearing because they are not happy.

I just don't understand why people can't have their own opinions around here. Sure most of it has been stated before, but by different people. The more feedback that there is, the better BBM will try to make the game. Don't kill someone just because their opionion is different from yours. Instead try to state what you like about the game, and be ready to listen to what someone else doesn't.

Just to set things straight, the new 2003 rosters did NOT create the current ERA nightmare. BBMO revised and released their new engine (code update) at the same time. It is this engine that is causing the problem.

I presume the the code update was meant to fix other problems, like the deadball era that occurs in leagues that have been around 15 or more years.

I don't fault BBMO for making changes and trying to make their product.

However, I do fault BBMO for not testing their engine better before putting it into production. I also fault them for doing a pretty lousy job of communicating with their customers.

Yes, we hardly know what is going on, and we are now beta testing a buggy game.

It doesn't seem right that we are paying for this. I could see a week or two of trying to get it worked out, but this is going on for too long now.

We are 15-games into the 2007. Be are a standard league and reset with the 2003 rosters. (By the way, I love the roster updates, thanks!)

I have St Louis, and Albert Pujols has started the first 15-games hitting over .400 (which isn't even tops on his team) and has hit 13-Home Runs.

This is at least difficult to believe. I need to go look at the box scores to see if he has homered in every game or just had mutiple multiple HR-games to start the season.

At this pace he should hit 140-142 Home Runs, assuming he does go on a tear.

The interesting thing is that he DOESN'T even lead the league in Home Runs.

Come on guys.....HELP.....let us know what is going on to fix this sort of thing.

There has to be a problem in the game logic. It wasn't present before. So when can I tell my owners that SANITY MIGHT BE RESTORED?

This certainly is NOT the BBM I signed on to play. 1 1/2 years ago when the free beta version was out, it was a more realistic sim game than today. I also find myself quickly losing interest in the game. I used to check my teams every couple of hours, some days EVERY hour, now I don't even think about it until a day or so passes. If I check twice a day now that's a lot. Players hitting 80 homers, era's over 10.00. It really stinks. I checked the Western Mogul Baseball league and it's comical. Pujols has 30 hits with 14 homers and doesn't even lead the league! Helton has 15 homers in 31 hits! Just plain silly.
I fear BBM will be losing a lot of players if it doesn't fix these bugs. They really should test thoroughly before dropping it in the laps of the paying customers. I know I am just about spent.

I don't think it is just you Fritz. I am in 6 leagues right now and the apathy among many of the GMs is very high. Many are leaving....
