View Full Version : Does it pay to stay in dying leagues?

I have really enjoyed playing in three public leagues during the beta testing but now that BBMO has gone active the number of human managers has really dropped off in these leagues.

Will my performance during the beta testing period with these teams be counted in my Mogul Rating or will our performances as managers only count from October 22nd forward?

I have mixed feelings about perfomances during the beta period counting but, on the other hand, if our performances as managers during the beta test period is not going to count I really dont see any reason to stay in leagues where I'm practically the only human manager left.

I am also curious if some of the public leagues will be closed in the near future. I have one league with just two human managers left. Should I hang in there waiting for new human managers to join or can I expect these leagues to fold? Or is it possible you will reset these leagues back to 2001? I would love some feedback on this subject.

IMO most players will try to switch over to private leagues at some point. I think there should be a better way for them to find the Leagues page though when they start to play. I don't know how many players (even from BETA) don't know we have messageboards, but I will bet at least 25% of those still playing dead public leagues.

I would really love to know when Mogul ratings are going to start appearing on our personal pages. And are our beta test performances going to be factored in or not?
