Free Agency

In Mogul Enthusiast League, the computer teams are doing all kinds of wacky things come February, including 0 point bids on every free agent (is that even possible?) and bidding on 7 or 8 players at the same position - Texas bids on 4 SS, 5 2B, etc. What is going on?

This is so F****d. Texas put in Max bids as a computer on every player, basically freezing teams out of the bidding, and filling their team to the gill with useless players given long term contracts, basically screwing the team for next HUMAN owner. If this results in a RESET because the league is screwed, I will be very upset, especially since I'M PAYING, and this little oh, sorry BIG bug, was not worked out before it was sprung on unsuspecting leagues.

And why do they keep bidding, and overbidding you - in the final week of free agency - even after they have filled their team, and had to renege on promised contracts to players.

Also, I'm not sure I appreciate the collusion that is going on between computer teams. Oh, sure they're able to coordinate their bids, so they don't bid anybody up over each other, yet let one of them bid on too many players, and the other computer team will take up their slack.

I sure hope the re-vamped (I meet let's hope) trade AI works better than this, hastily constructed Waterloo....

Yes sir the computer is at it again.
In the Mogul Enthusiast's league Houston (a computer team )has bids on every single FA out there. EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS A 0 POINT BID.
I thought this was fixed patched and repatched but it's still broken.
This is absolutely no fun at all.
Maybe we can get some official word on whether this will be fixed or not.

From what I have heard from the Sports Mogul Gods...

A new patch just went up and it is being tested...the problem is close to being fixed.

Edit: This has been confirmed by Clay...problem should be fixed.

Well the computer just erased everyone's bids for FA and replaced them with its own 0 pt. bids.
Lots of fun this is.........

I'm very sorry that this bug has reappeared.

Fixing it is our #1 priority right now. We are trying to beat the clock and get this done quickly, so that we can fix this before many more free agent sims happen.

We thought we had this bug licked earlier, so we we equally dismayed to see it rearing its ugly head.

I'm very sorry for the problem, and we will let you know what's going on as soon as we can.
