How do you create one? And what can be customized?

Custom Leagues are "not ready for prime time" yet, since we haven't mastered converting the Mogul 2004 database back to points yet...but once Clay kills the ERA bug, he'll be fixing that gizmo for me soon so I can get these custom leagues going.

But, here's the overview of the process:

You create your soon-to-be-custom league in the Mogul Online system.

You then use Baseball Mogul 2004 to create a database the way you like. You save the game out as a .mog file and email it to us, being sure to note in your email which league you want the database to be used for. (Something to the effect of "Please use this database for League #1488, Ultra Double Golden League of Doom." Including both league name and number ensures that we don't plug your database into someone else's world..which would be...bad... :)

Once we've received the database, we then run at least 40 seasons in our offline testing system to make sure it won't crash out the online system. Crashing the online system would be...bad.

We then unload the default database for your league and replace it with the .mog file.

Here's what's not ready for prime time yet:
You log in, and check our work <<-- this is the big sticking point right now -- the few custom leagues we have going have found some BIG snarls in how it converted back from points to dollars. Until this is working, we will be doing custom leagues one at a time.

Once you're sure everything's ready to roll, you get your owners in and start playing.

Voila!

Oh, and somewhere in there, you owe us $30 bucks, too.

So, that's that.
It's not ready to go yet..we're still doing beta testing on it. But, when we're ready to roll, we'll announce it.
