OK, Monday is here and ALL the teams that have inactive owners are still unavailable to the genral public. What's up with that? I was considering switching within my league to a little better market (I am in Milwaukee, need I say more?), and All the teams which I thought would be released this morning, weren't.
How 'bout cutting them loose?

Yeah, Steven0560, I'm with you! First we had to wait all weekend so that the WS could be done, now the FA period is finally here. I was waiting for it to start so we could have some fun, but this really stinks. There are a bunch of teams that have been inactive for almost 4 WEEKS!!!

I think those teams should be cut loose immeadiatly so we can at least PLAY THE GAME!!! Right now, we can't do anything, and it isn't any fun. We shoudn't have to jump to another league just to be able to PLAY!!! AAAHHHHHH!!!! F-WORD!!!

No offense...but that language doesn't belong in this forum. I don't know what the big deal is...no one is going to pick up any of the dead public leagues anyway.

What, is this a convent? No, it's a forum! And secondly, there wasn't a word in there that couldn't be said on TV, let alone the internet, and God forbid, a baseball field!

No, but that was an emphatic rant...calm down it isn't the end of the world. I think we try to be calm, peaceful people in these forums...not swearing and shouting and going crazy because some dead teams are still dead and will be dead forever.

This is CRAZY! There are a ton of the beta leagues now that are holding teams for players that are long gone. They may not have any active players in some of them.

I DEMAND ;) that tomorrow any team that has an owner that hasn't logged in since the game went live be returned to computer control so that we can see how many players there really are playing. I am guessing that there are really only enough players to populate 10 - 20% of the leagues that are out there.

  I don't want to waste my time in a league that is really defunct.

I further demand that all commisioners include their age with their names. I don't want to join a league and find out it's run by some momma's boy who wears his jeans 5 inches lower than where they are supposed to go!

Those are my demands!:D

Ian will be running the de-teaming script tomorrow. We hope to have it done in the morning.

Then you'll be able to see which leagues are still active, and which are not, and decide whether you want to pull up stakes and move to a more populated league.

Cheers,
James

I am VERY impressed Willat. One little hissy fit and look what you accomplish! I must say I was very entertained by the series of posts before this one. I enjoy a good rant or rave!

When are you going to release non-active teams? Geez it's taking you all longer than it takes my 95 year old grandma to run 100 yards(she can't).

raiti2001, dont make fun of your grandmother.
Anyway, I had expected this already, there is nothing they can really get on time. First, the pay registration, second, the patches, third.......guess i better stop.....

The De-Teaming script is currently running.

It will take a while to finish -- possibly several hours.

For the record, I did say we would be running the script today, and we HOPED to have it done in the morning. :D

Please let me know if you still see non-subscribed GMs later this evening.

Cheers,
James Grove
