I thought I remembered a comment that once we go live and paying, the banners will disappear.

I still have a problem with occational bad links with the banners which kick me out of Sports Mogul. Couple that with the refresh problem with the back button (which is not your fault), it is frustrating.

You know, you just jarred my memory on this as well... I also have these problems and would see the demise of the banner ads as a blessing as well.

I believe that James said we would lose the pop-up ads, but not the banners...I know the pop-up schedule got messed up so we have to wait that out for a few weeks.

I also have the same problem with the Refresh and Back buttons. It's actually related to Internet Explorer's inability to save the information on the page.

Switching to Opera should fix this (http://www.opera.com/).

I would switch but then I wouldn't be able to reproduce any bug reports experienced in IE.

As for the banner ads, we think they are unobtrusive and we use them primarily in an exchange with other sites to bring users to www.SportsMogul.com so I think they are worth keeping.

Besides, every now and then I see an interesting banner ad, like the one for www.savebaseball.com.

We have eliminated the popups. We HATE popups.

You're wrong, Clay - their obtrusive as all get out. I understand the desire to get the "BBM word" out, but I personally'd pay an extra buck a month to see them vanish.

As Clay wrote, you could use Opera for playing BBMO. Then you wouldn't have to pay more to play. Sounds like the way to go for me.
