Seems like players with "A" speed are still much worse than, say, "B+" speed. They usually have SB percentages around 50%.
Is this a bug?

I've seen very few A speed players in my leagues. I feel that there should be more A speed players, espicially CF's.

There are not too may "A" players in real life - if you correlate an "A" to someone who steals a lot of bases. Generally only a handful will steal more than 20 bags in a season these days.
So, there should not be very many at all. Maybe 3 - 5 per league at any one time.

I did some poking around in the various leaues that I am in and noticed things actually look prety good, overall. The "A"s steal pretty well, and in general aongthe lines of MLB.
I did notice that on my team, which has a low scouting report, I did have a guy who was rated A- speed, but was 8-11 on the base paths.
Now, I wonder if that is because my scouting is bad, and he should actually be rated lower, but my manager thinks that he is faster, so he sends him more......

Took this from NABL...
In order of most stolen bases in league, and speed rating
Cedeno A+
Furcal B
Pierre A
Tyner B+
Mach A
Castillo B
Sandgren A
Baughman A
Percentages are about the same...looks good to me.
