Proposal for a new league

Gentlemen,

I'm doing a little thinking aloud here...

Would anyone be interested in starting a league based on the model of the English Premiere League - where the worst couple of teams each year get dropped to the lower division (with the best same number of teams from the lower division advancing to the higher division)? Once a team falls to the lower division they would have to play their way back up to the higher division by doing all the things any quality organization does, pumping money into the farm system and scouting. This would obviously have to be a custom league, and I don't even know if the code exists for such a creation (Clay?), but I think it would be a pretty cool idea.

I am not going to join, but i got some comments. We are not having enough players in BMO now, and it's going to be extremely hard to even get your league fill up. For example, MBL had created 1 month ago and now they only gets about 11 managers including the owner itself.
I am not going to stop you from making a league, but i am just telling you it's going to be tough, good luck!:D

Currently, the option is not available to customize a league like the English Premiere League.

I know, I know, something like reality always intrudes on the best laid plans...It would be fun, though. Maybe when they offer the platinum package (and I upgrade from the cubic zircona/pyrhite package) that'll be an option. And I know that we need more managers and fewer leagues, BBM.

thats a good idea but its true what bbm states that there are not enough gms to fill the leagues...I have the gold package and can create up to 3 leagues but since some leagues are having a hard time filling up, i just havent made one...im still sticking with the gold because u can have up to 10 teams...im currently using 4...

Major League baseball has opening for evey AL team execpt Toronto, and Anihiem. And every NL team execpt Atlanta, and San Fransisco.

where are you seeing all those options for creating a league. the only ones i see for simming is once a day or all day, and just a couple available start times.

These were the options we intended to have at launch, but were worried about the server load of 'Challenge Mode'. So the actual choices for #1 above are: Weekdays, Weekends, Every Day. And the choices for #2 are "Daily (Each day at 6 am)" OR "Hourly (Every hour from 9 am to 6 pm)"
