Hey,
I've just now taken over as the new Commissioner of League Sharkx 2003 http://www-2.sportsmogul.com/bb/leagues.pl?viewleague=1405 . We're a 30-a day league, we're about to start the 2006 season, BUT you're still in time for the free agency period which just commenced. We have 24 dedicated members. But we're hoping that a few of you might decide to take over the remaining six! Here are the teams still available and just waiting for the right GM to turn tem into instant contenders:
Baltimore - low cash, but an extremely low payroll (lowest in the league with alot of young prospects who are ready to start in the majors
Boston - Has the best record in the American League, 300+ in cash, had a 109-53 record last year and was the ALDS Winner. A great team who has an average of 105 wins a season.
Cincinnati - a mid-sized payroll with alot of cash available. This team fell just short of the NL wildcard spot and is a serious contender.
Milwaukee - average sized payroll and cash available. Team needs some work, mainly on the pitching side. Any GM who thinks they're elite should come and test their skills.
Pittsburg - Low payroll and a good amount of spare cash. Great players on both the pitching staff and on offense just missing a GM who can add the missing piece to make this team a contender.
San Deigo - payroll is a bit high but not as high as other teams in the league. Team has a great pitching staff which finished with one of the top 5 ERA's in the league. Only downfall is that it needs work on offense to give pitchers support.
Texas - Taken
