I really have enjoyed my time spent with the public leagues but have been frustrated lately by the lack of human players in my public leagues. To help me make a decision to continue playing or leave these public leagues I have some questions the answers to which I think would benefit all managers playing on BBMO.

1. Will our beta test results in the public leagues count when you begin giving out average mogul points scored ratings?

A no answer here would obviate against staying in public leagues with few human players left.

2. Should we quit public leagues soon in order to avoid adding to our quit ratings?

A yes answer here would seem to indicate the need to quit public leagues with few human players as soon as possible.

3. Just how soon will the quit rating be reset?

I hope Sports Mogul will give us a few days warning before this happens. Personally I hope they wait some more to let the dust settle before resetting.

4. Are there plans to fold up some of the older public leagues with few human members so that players can move onto new leagues with more human interaction or, on the other hand, is Sports Mogul going to encourage new players to join the older public leagues?

It's just my opinion but it might be advisable to fold up or restart back to 2001 many of the public leagues which have only one or two human players unless active steps are being taken to recruit new players to these leagues. At the very least human players could be questioned (i.e. sent e-mails) on this and certain leagues could then be folded without penalty to the human players involved.

My regrets for the long post but I think these are important question to which answers would be greatly appreciated.

Quit ratings arent going to kill youo. If you want you can join a private league like mine at jeffkohut@home.com

I am trying to switch over to the 1st even teams league where all teams will generate similar revenues and fluctuates based on performance.

To answer some of your questions:

1) Don't know but personally I dont think ratings will be an issue for getting into a league but be more of prestige.

2) You don't have to quit any leagues. I have a huge quit rating because I am switching teams in my league to fix up others who struggle and then joining back as my own.

3) Probably never but I dont beleive it will harm anyone since I dont think the option to only allow ppl with certain quit ratings exists yet.

4) This answer I got from James. He told me that Sportsmogul will not shut down any leagues unless its 100% inactive. That means if there is just 1 human GM out there the league will remain going. THis is for GM's who may prefer to just run a team on their own in their own privacy.
