Hi:
One of my teams, Toronto in League Beta 72 won a
World Series for the first time. I thought it would be a good idea to print out the headline stories to create a scrapbook.
PROBLEM: When I tried to print out one of the pages all I got was unreadable code. Do you have some sort of scramble to prevent printing of material?
thanx,
ps I have a brand new Canon printer that works fine and even when you preview the printable page you can see the bad results.
I use Microsoft Explorer and print various pages all the time. Someone else may be able to tell you why it doesn't work for you.
It would be useful if a print function were included because I get all the colour and adds included on the page, which can get expensive.

We don't have anything that was designed to prevent users from printing out their pages.
What browser and operating system are you using?
You might try a different web browser and see if that makes a difference.
Please let me know,
James

Thank YOU:
I use Netscape so much that I didn't think about IE. There was a lot of trouble (for me) with IE at the start of BBM online that I quit using it altogether. But, I have printed off the info I wanted now.
Also, on IE there is not the problem I reported earlier with Netscape regarding the position #1 person in the lineup being off center with the headings. So for the time being I will use IE and see how that goes.
thanx again,
kingola

The dirty little secret around our office is that nobody uses Netscape much...
Clay and I use IE. Ian uses Opera. But about the only time we use Netscape is when we are bug checking.
So if there are bugs that only show up in Netscape, they have a much better chance of slipping by us.
Also, as far as I can tell, Netscape is a lot more finnicky about the HTML code it gets. It has been far more likely to give us problems if we have a tag out of place.
Cheers,
James
