Will BBMO be Free Forever?

I have not heard anything about how or when we will begin paying again...

Not that I'm complaining, I'm just curious.

By the way I would really hate it if the SM just ceased to exist one day. I certainly don't mind paying for their product.

I think we have to face the facts - it won't be long before BBMO is gone. The whole credit card thing happened over 6 weeks ago, and there hasn't been a single word about us putting new CC info in.

For me, one of the biggest indicators that this game is ending is something simple - the drop-down box on the Expenses screen. How long has that been broken? I'm sure it's just a little typo on the page, because it worked at one time.... but no one has fixed it yet? Obviously there is no one at the helm.

My guess is that things will continue to run until Sports Mogul gets kicked out for not paying rent, or utilities, or whatever.

(And if anyone from Sports Mogul has a differing opinion, please correct me! I would love to be wrong on this!)

Well, remember when the game was down for a while while the server was transferred?

In the past, Sports Mogul had an office in Massachusetts which the entire crew worked at. It had a T1, I believe, which ran the game right from there.

Now the server is colo'ed, as I do not believe they have an office anymore. I could be mistaken, but I think it's a relatively good assumption considering the server is now colo'ed and Clay and Dee moved, I believe.

Ok, so the server is colo'ed... For those of you who are not into server technology, that means "co-located".

That doesn't really answer the question I posed. Will Sports Mogul be an ongoing concern? And if so, when will be asked for our credit card information?

Any information about this subject would be appreciated. I have not wanted to join any additional leagues because of concern the viability of the business.

I would say that the reason there has been no response or attempt to collecy payment is that there is nopone at the top to do it.

Just my opinion.
