Reminder: Courteous Commissioners

Reminder to league commissioners:

I'd like to remind the league commissioners to be sure to keep your league players informed of upcoming changes to the league.

If you are planning to disband or reset your league, PLEASE post an announcement in advance -- preferably 48 hours or more in advance.

This will give your league players time to wrap up their games or find a new league if necessary.

Nobody likes to log on and find that the team they worked so hard to build is gone.

We will be adding the option to release a league into the public pool, so that the other players can continue to play, even if you want to be able to create a new league.

Thank you for helping us keep the game enjoyable for everyone.

And let us all thank Kohut for the beautiful disbanding of the longest running private league that has kept so many customers together. I's just like to thank him once more for the entertainment I had when coming home from school to see the team I work so hard for dissipated, gone into thin air. I don't get too emotional about baseball, but this is the rudest thing I've seen in my life.

Look on the bright side Drew... at least you had not just taken Milwaukee to game 7 of the World Series before losing.... And had the ENTIRE team back for next season like I did in All-star when it was ripped out from under me... Do you know how HARD it is to get Milwaukee to the World Series?!!!!! Not to mention that even after getting to the world series my attendance DROPPED to 17K a game from 23K the season before.

Ouch. That's bad richard. And as to steinbrenner, I wrote how I felt, but tom edited it out. I'm mad about this. I cannot believe they couldn't at least waited a day to let all of us know and approve.
