People have given Clay and Dee some pretty harsh criticism. I think there is a reasonable explanation for the problems and lack of communication.

Yes!

For example, right now there could have been a serious automobile accident and they are in the hospital, recovering. Alternatively Clay might have gotten into trouble with his bookie and is laying low so the mob doesn't rub him out.

That could be it!

I'm sure there are other possible explanations. You guys have any ideas?

I have another idea: They think you're both idiots.

My ideas

1. They don't bother wasting their time with people who choose to criticize the way their business (which right now has 2 employees i think) and would rather use the time they have to work on improvements.
2. They dont feel like adding more fuel to the fire by responding to anything that you guys say because they know you have no lives, and if like Monte will remember one comment for 6 months.
3. The baseball gods are mad at them for moving from one cursed city (Boston) to another (Chicago).

Oh yeah and if you are Monte feel free to mock me, I understand you dont have a life. Just a question: How many of your "friends" do you see in the "other life"? (away from comptuers).

AND

Heres a quote that you, Monte, should defend.
"Bring it on, our troops are plenty tough to handle any Iraqis"

AND explain who this person is refering to
"He said bring it on, well they brought it on, and now my son is dead"

Hmmm... well, I don't know who Monte is, but I'll take a stab at it...

The full (and ACURATE) quote, for better perspective...
"Anybody who wants to harm American troops will be found and brought to justice. There are some that feel like if they attack us that we may decide to leave prematurely. They don't understand what they are talking about if that is the case. Let me finish. There are some who feel like the conditions are such that they can attack us there. My answer is: Bring 'em on."

It is pretty clear that the President was saying rather forcefully that, the U.S. will not be turning and running away with our tail between our legs as was the policy of the previous administration (see "Black Hawk Down"). We are committed to completing the task, and we now have a President that is a true leader.

You should also note that the comment was about remaining true to our commitment, though many Bush Haters have tried to take the quote out of context in an effort to make people believe, falsely, that he was inviting attacks on our troops. It is obvious from the quote that he was not doing that.

That's quite possible. Maybe they think that we are idiots. My question: are they right? Are we idiots for sticking around?

Another word for IDIOT ==> CUSTOMER
