Im wondering if anyone else is in my situation. I built up 3 strong teams and the most of the managers left when it came time to pay. I don't want to dump my teams and join another league.

So, I was thinking. Why not let non paying people play in the leagues BUT just dont give them all the priveleges. Such as dont let them sign free agents, or dont let them trade, or freeze their expense categories or something. That way people like myself can play in a more competitive league and new people can get a chance to test it out.

SDRocks-

That's an excellent suggestion. So good, in fact, that we were thinking the same thing.

However, due to implementation time restraints, we have currently settled for allowing interested customers to view the game without being able to manage a team.

We may well try to implement the Demo-Manager mode in the future, but unfortunately we have a lot of things on our plate right now. But I have made sure to add the suggestion to our official in-house tasklist -- we may be able to get to it by mid-December.

Thanks for your help,
James

Why not use the same idea as you do for the CD-ROM game, and have a trial league which folds at the end of the first season. This must work - it made me order the full version of the CD game...
