I'm in SPL, Anaheim, and I have a problem with the way that the 20 game/day - daily format is running.
First off, it is double simming - it ran off 40 days to start the season for both the 2001 and 2002 season. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I do not like it. I'm starting a bunch of youngsters, and would like the option to rotate them into the starting lineup a bit to see how they perform here at the beginning of the season.
Secondly, the sims for the post season are BAAAAAAD.
The game simmed Oct. 1 - Nov 2 in one sim. It did not allow any tweaking during the post season at all.
Then the FA draft simmed Nov 2 to April 1. In one sim. The entire FA draft in one sim! I did not place any bids because I was waiting to see who signed early, and as a result, I signed no one!
Also, a lot of players who DID have bids on them did not sign. Sammy Sosa, Moises Alou, Frank Thomas...... this is just a few of the names of the players still left in FA on May 11, because the bar did not lower enough for them to sign.
Third, I saw a post in SPL complaining that some of his players had injuries during the off season that did not heal. Although the sim ran from Nov 2 to April 1, only one day was taken off of their injuries.
Please address these issues....They make for very bad game play.
