Greetings Online Baseball Mogul Players,
We just posted a new version for Baseball Mogul Online. We have eliminated a bug that misjudged whether a team had clinched a playoff spot. Since the computer manager rests the top 3 starting pitchers after clinching, this was cause for serious concern.
I have also addressed some issues surrounding sim speeds. In particular:
1) We've had some problems with the off-season whizzing by without any chance to bid on free agents (and without players being healed). This should now be fixed.
2) I have eliminated (for now) the code that speeds up the sim after the trading deadline.
So, the sim speeds should now match those listed for a league, with the following exceptions:
a) The simulation always stops at the end of the regular season, and the end of the post-season.
b) The game tries to stop BETWEEN playoff series.
c) The game simulates approximately 2-3 times as fast during the off-season.
Finally, I've added a poll relating to this issue. Please vote.
