Timeout Error

We put up a new version of the code last night at about 8:30 EST. It appeared to be working fine at the time. It also appears that all leagues have been simming correctly.

BUT, several users are reporting problems accessing their leagues.

I am HOPING this is a minor byproduct of the new executable. Baseball Mogul Online needs to save all the active game files and then load them all, one at a time, into the new executable. Because loading the league takes time, sessions sometimes time out while waiting for a response from the game server.

If this is the case, the timeout errors should fade away as more people access leagues. I have been able to access several leagues so far with no problems, so I'm having trouble pinpointing the exact problem.

However, the more I look into this, the more it appears that about 50% of the leagues are inaccessible, regardless of repeated attempts. This means that no one in the league can access the league. (In other words, it's almost certainly not a problem with your individual account). We're still working on the problem. This is our highest priority.

This still isn't working on ANY of my leagues, MAL, NPL or Mogul Enthusiasts. Stinks because we're in the playoffs, and it will probably be over before I can access my team again....

I have tried dozen upon dozen of times to enter to no success. The leagues I am having problems with are Elite Mogul League where I am Kansas City and Most Active League where I am Toronto. Feel free to try to access under my account to see if you get the error and can possibly use it for problem solving. If you need any info let me know, but I have tried exactly what you said multiple times.

I just tried my team in the Banana League the three times and it still didn't work.

We are still working on the problem. We are going to perform a reboot in a few minutes to help clear up the problem.

For what it's worth, I suspect that your games will pick up where they left off before the problems began. I don't think it is simulating seasons right now, as the server is having problems.

The game server has gone from slow to hung. We are shutting it down, and all games will be inaccessible for some time (we're hoping to get this fixed in the next few hours).
